ADAC: Behind the Windows

The Atlanta Decorative Arts Center (ADAC) was created in 1961 by visionary architect John Portman, and today its 550,000 square feet house the Southeast’s largest collection of luxury furnishings. For ADAC's 11th annual "Behind the Windows" event in October 2017, Shayelyn was one of five interior designers tasked with creating a suite that celebrated fashion. She teamed up with Susan Singletary, owner of Peoples boutique in Buckhead, and New York-based fashion designer Nellie Partow, whose classic but edgy work Shayelyn has long followed, to explore of form, fabric, and color.
